Jens Christensen 1893-1981, was a Danish immigrant who settled in the Lake Macquarie area and lived at Killingworth and Arcadia Vale. He was an electrical engineer who worked at Killingworth Colliery from 1937-1946. He was involved in the local sailing fraternity, and influential in establishment of Wangi Sailing Club. He was an amateur film maker and documented much about life in Lake Macquarie during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
