Slippery Rock Road
There is a place in the 'Brush' called Slippery Rock Shelf. An unnamed road officially, it was gazetted on 23 October 1987. The 'Jew Boy' gang of bushrangers were reported to have hidden in the 'Brush' near this road during their time in Martinsville. Early residents called Slippery Rock Road the "Highway to the timber industry" (Source: "The Brush" by G Mashman).
