May be the remains of South Wallsend Colliery (later Cardiff Borehole), Cardiff, NSW. The structure has been identified as being at the end of Orchard Road Cardiff, and over what used to be the rail line. One Cardiff resident remembers it as being in ruin, and although entry ways were boarded up children would squeeze their way through and explore inside. There was a large hole inside full of water and a lot of huge timbers laying across it in a tumbled fashion.
