Lake Macquarie History

Kyrwood Lane

Kyrwood Lane was built in 1924 and was unnamed until gazetted on 2 June 2000. This lane is named after William Stephen Kyrwood, a war veteran from Toronto. An all-round sportsman, he participated in cycling, sailing, boxing, and high diving and was well known as a champion racing sailboat builder.
