Wainman Drive

The developer/applicant was Jamin Tappouras-Johnson Property Group and the road was gazetted on 18 December 2009 Folio 6444. Frank Wainman was one of the first pilots at the Avondale Airstrip. He lived in the area and started flying in 1932.

Frank Wainman junior owned and ran a service station on the corner of Freemans Drive and Alton Rd. Frank senior was a local brick layer.
