Lake Macquarie History

Crest Avenue

Crest Avenue is on the crest of the hill, Edgeworth Heights. In 1922, DP 112257 appears unnamed. Crest Avenue was named on DP 565426 dated 1974.

Early residents of the street, Doreen and Leonard Owens (no.2), along with members of the Jones (no.4) and Hunter (no.8) families were apparently asked to name the street in the early days of development, when it consisted of only 4 houses.
