Lake Macquarie History

Irvine Street

This street is thought to have been part of the first subdivision, 1918. Originally said to have been named or part named Government Road and Prospect Road, the Progress Association asked that this be fixed, and it was renamed Irvine Street. Irvine Street was tar-sealed in 1964.
