Lake Macquarie History

Parkside Parade

Originally an unnamed street it was gazetted Parkside Parade on 25 November 1977. It was built alongside a privately owned park and would have been named from this. The Leisure Life Caravan Park is here. The Seventh Day Adventist school was built in 1983 and the church in 2001.

The original developer has advised that he suggested the name and others in the area because it had connections to his industry ie. caravan park
