Pondee Place

Pondee is an Aboriginal word meaning 'overlooking view' and was their name for Toronto itself (Aborigines of the Hunter Region by Dept of Education: Hunter Region). In the early years of the 16ft, Sailing Club 'Pondee' was a consistent performer. Pondee Place was developed by Ashlar Properties in 1993.
