Victory Parade
Originally part of Toronto Hotel's land, this had been a private road variously named Hotel Promenade and The Esplanade. After subdivisions were held by Walter Donnelly, the hotel proprietor, it became a public road. Following the unveiling of the Toronto War Memorial in 1922, it was renamed Victory Parade. The old railway station is leased by the Lake Macquarie and District Historical Society for their headquaters and Heritage Centre.
