Bertram Close
Bertram Close (inadvertently spelt) was named after John Bertrand, the helmsman of Australia II, who sailed her to victory in the 1983 Americas Cup. Originally named Bond Close after Alan Bond. It was renamed because there was already a Bond Close in the City (LMCC Naming Guidelines). Bertram Close was a NSW Land and Housing development in 1984.
