Sulphide Oval, Boolaroo

The Sulphide Oval was built in 1934 in the factory grounds and the Welfare Club was formed. A bowling green and tennis court were added, cricket, football and other sporting activities were organised. There was a fishing club and a rifle club and the annual picnic was organised by the club.
