Interview with Pat Curren

Pat Pearce (nee Curren) started working for Lake Macquarie Library in 1951 at the first branch, located at Third Street Boolaroo. In this interview she relates the laborious manual tasks involved with processing and lending books in those days. Pat also details her time on the early bookmobile runs which covered the length and breadth of the Lake.
