Somerset Street
Some historically significant Nissan Huts were erected on Crown Land in 1945. The name Somerset Street was gazetted in 1958 when ownership of the street was transferred to Lake Macquarie Shire Council. From a LMSC street name list, Somerset is a county in the U.K. Somerset is a companion street name with Arlington, Harlo, and Tamar Streets.
