Centennial Park, Holmesville

Named to commemorate the Holmesville Centenary 1888-1988, when Joseph Holmes subdivided portion 49 and named Holmesville. The monument was unveiled by the honourable Bob Brown Federal Member for Charlton and the Hon. Jeff Hunter, State Member for Lake Macquarie, 18 April 1998. A time capsule is buried on the site.
