Lucy’s Groyne, Swansea
Lucy’s Groyne is a small manmade rock jetty on the southern breakwater near the entrance to Swansea Channel. It has had the desired effect of helping to stabilise the area. Groyne = (Civil Engineering) a wall or jetty built out from a riverbank or seashore to control erosion. Also called: spur or breakwater
