Bateup Road

Gazetted on 20 May 2016 (Folio 1144). Bateup Road is part of a collection of streets named after World War 1 and World War 2 service men from Wyee and surrounding districts. Their names are noted on the Honour Roll Board in the local Community Hall and the Doyalson RSL. Private John Bateup is one such man who served in World War 1, whilst Private James Edward Bateup and LAC Wallace John Bateup are two such men who served in World War 2.
