This exhibition highlights mental health and wellbeing and the current movement to bring these issues into the light. Light on Morisset: inside the hospital examines the history of Morisset Hospital as a long-standing and important institution in Lake Macquarie history, through never before exhibited photographs and seldom seen objects from the Morisset Hospital Historical Society collection.Officially opened in 1909 and closed to new admissions in 1995, this iconic place has touched the lives of many people over the years - both local and from further afield.
