Callum's story. Caves Beach Public School shared stories project 2022

The sound of the reel scream as it is running out of line. Fighting the drag so I don’t get spoilt. As the fish got tired, I started gaining more line back. I was the fish – it was an 80cm flatty. I got it to the break wall. It spat the hook and I lost the beast of a fish.
