Cressy Road

Private Henry Alfred Cressy lost his life at the Battle of Fromelles 100 years ago. This young man grew up in Boolaroo living on Creek Road; he was a loco driver at the Sulphide. Henry Cressy has been honoured by the Boolaroo at a number of ANZAC Day ceremonies. His remains were finally found in 2010. Gazette Date: 13 November 2020 No. 314 folio 4509.
