    Private Albert Greenfield was a miner from Killingworth prior to enlisting in WWI. His father Samuel Greenfield is listed on his attestation papers as next of kin. Albert was 20 years and 6 months when he enlisted on February 25, 1916. He served with the 34th Battalion in C Company and was listed as killed in action on December 16, 1916.
