    Creators:

    • Laycock, Mr Ken
    • Laycock, Mrs Freda

Original caption: Other days, other ways: Ken Laycock and dog Wendy are on the Pacific Highway at Cain's Hill, Charlestown. The date is Monday 16 Jan 1933. The intersection at left rear is Warner's By Road, where there are now traffic lights. With the present-day almost constant traffic it would be impossible to get a clear road for long enough to take a photo on the same spot. This photograph is one of a collection of images donated by Freda (nee Durham) and Ken Laycock in 1988. The Durham and Laycock families were early residents of the Charlestown area.
