    This headstone commemorates the death of Joseph Holmes (Junior) killed in a mining accident 17 July 1893. The inscription also commemorates his parents Mary Clark Holmes (nee Woodhead) 1838-1905 and Joseph Holmes 1831-1912 (founder of Holmesville). The other headstone shows Agnes Steward Henderson, daughter of Andrew and Alice Henderson.
