    Earliest photo of the Wallarah Coal Mining Company town at Catherine Hill Bay, company built and owned town. Mine manager's House on the hill overlooking the jetty,railway and identical miners'houses,complete with their outside toilets.The poles along the side of the road were not electricity poles rather telegraph lines connecting to the mines 4 kms north.
