- Eraring Post Office. The Postal officer in this period was Mrs Gertrude Roberts (Nee Simpson). The Post Office in the picture is located at the front of number 11 Payten Street, Eraring. The Ute belonged to Mr Cecil Bayley, who ran a small grocery store from hi shouse in Biddulph Street, Eraring. The Post Office was donated to the Eraring Public School by the Roberts family as an heritage building after operations ceased in the early 1970s. (jpeg)
