Lake Macquarie History

Interview with Tony Farrell

In 2007 Tony Farrell was Director of City Strategy for Lake Macquarie City Council. Although not personally affected by the storm, he was involved in recovery of council's computer, power and staffing systems, thus ensuring council could respond rapidly and effectively to storm related issues. In this interview he recounts the efforts to clean up fallen trees, landslips, roadworks and other major projects made necessary by the storm.
