Heritage Interpretation
Outdoor interpretative signage helps connect residents and visitors to local heritage and history. The Lake Macquarie region has heritage plaques from a 1988 Bicentennial project as well as recently installed signage at Rathmines Park interpreting the history of this WWII seaplane base. Lake Macquarie City Council is currently actively renewing and installing new heritage interpretation in the LGA.
Is there some heritage interpretation in your area that isn’t recorded on this page? Please contact us at [email protected] . We’d love to hear from you.
