Brynn's story. Caves Beach Public School shared stories project 2022
As the salty air hit my face, I ran down to the under 10s flag and lined up. All of my tense excitement melted Away as my toes hit the warm soft sand. I was still a little bit nervous because it was point score at Nippers in early January. I was jumping up and down beneath the burning sun while I wait for the other competitive group. Once my group started, all the enormous waves smashed down the shore, even though it was crazily loud, I couldn’t hear a thing – I was focused.
