Zahli's story. Caves Beach Public School shared stories project 2022
We stroll down to the shore, listening for the lapping sounds in the lake as we watch the tide run in and out. The sand crunches between my toes as I walk across the shiny, yellow sand. I watch the sun dip into the horizon – painting the sky red, orange, and yellow while relaxing on the grass. My family and I ride to the park and play on the wooden swings. Sometimes my neighbour and I ride down to the café and grab an ice cream on a hot sunny day. We jump on the rocks, looking for fish as slip and slide on the wet green algae.
