Caves Beach Road
An early road commencing in Swansea it was named from its destination, Caves Beach. Situated along Caves Beach Road, The Swansea-Caves Beach Surf life Saving Club was founded in 1929 and has had four clubhouses built over the years on the site.
Subdivisions were held in the Parbury Estate, DP 17632 in 1935 on either side of Caves Beach Road. The Union Trustee Co. was the vendor for this subdivision. A 1955 council map shows only two streets in Caves Beach, the other one being unnamed at the time.
Later developments in the area include Housing Commission built houses.
