Bullsgarden Road
Early records show Edmund Bull purchased portion 85 of 60 acres in Gateshead. A 1901 Newcastle directory describes Bull's garden near Charlestown as being a pleasant drive or walk, with fruit trees, little waterfalls, ponds, bird aviary and bushland settings, a popular Sunday outing. Though an early road, it may not have been named officially for sometime.
