Lake Macquarie History

Bombala Street

There is a NSW town name theme in Dudley. The town of Bombala is named from an Aboriginal word meaning 'meeting of the waters' ("Aboriginal Place Names" by AW Reed.) Bombala Street was part of the 1904 land sale by Lang Wood and Co.
