James Street
The second site of Teralba School was in James Street at the intersection with Pitt Street. At one time the school and the town were called Glen Mitchell. Old residents said the street was named after Dr James Mitchell, the owner of the estate. His daughter Margaret Quigley inherited the estate after his death. The Westlakes Miners Retirement Village, Mining Museum, Cultural Centre and building which housed the former Sager's Museum are in this street.
