Manhire Road

Gazetted Manhire Road on 9 June 1989, originally this road was parts of Old Maitland Road, Forest Road and an unnamed section of road.

Named after locals Alfred & Norma Manhire who were involved in all manner of local committees & community groups from the late 1960's to the late 1990's. Alf was an member of the local bush fire brigade reaching the rank of captain.
