Interview with Gordon Wicks regarding his war service at Rathmines Air Base during World War II

Gordon Wicks was born in 1920. He served in the RAAF from January 1941 to January 1946. He was trained as an observer, which covered many roles such as navigator, gunner, photographer and bomb aimer. He was involved in missions to ferry Catalinas from their factory in the United States to various bases in Australia, including Rathmines.
