Main Street Boolaroo Heritage study
Within the three part Heritage Study, the architectural firm, Suters Architects, has investigated the history of Main Street, Boolaroo. With a focus on the design and aesthetic features of the thoroughfare, the report documents numerous sites along the road, providing visual images and discussions on the historical features. Created in 1997, the images presented within the Heritage Study are ones current to the year in which compiled, unless otherwise stated.
Initially created as a study interested in forming a more unified and cohesive design for Main Street, the report offers numerous insights into the streets history. Featuring in-depth discussions regarding verandas, awnings, shop fronts, signage, colour schemes, parapets and facades, the Heritage Study provides insight into the different time periods present within the Main Streets design.
Containing a number of photographs and illustrations, the Heritage Study paints the picture of the historical growth and design of Boolaroo.
