Fotheringham Road
Gazette Date: 20 April 2018 folio 2683. Fotheringham Road was named after Andrew Colman (Andy) Fotheringham, an early employee of the Sulphide Corporation, who was born in Scotland in 1907. His service with the Sulphide commenced in 1927. This was interrupted by the Depression and he returned in 1934. Andy spent his whole career in the acid plants and retired on 19 December 1972. Andy passed away on 12 October 1984.
