In particular, two features of George’s letters that impressed me were:
His desire to visit and see as many places in the world as possible and to
relate his experiences back to his family in Sydney. To do this he used
many postcards, even of industrial Bradford, included below. The whole
adventure unfortunately went wrong for too many and as well many other
AIF soldiers spent time in some of the wrong places or going AWL.
