The Certificate of the Roll of Honour was given to Redhead Village
probably in 1916 or 1917. It recognizes the members of this town who
volunteered to fight for the Empire, and its purpose was probably to
encourage further enlistments. The Certificate is reproduced later.

Note that the two World War 1 plaques are on the very right of the
Memorial as you look at the structure.
